Juan Pablo is a lawyer from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City. He obtained the Diploma and Medal of Excellence for the score obtained in the official qualification exam "EGEL". Likewise, he received from the Rector of the Universidad Iberoamericana, the Recognition and the “San Ignacio de Loyola” Medal.

Juan Pablo successfully completed the Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration taught by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Escuela Libre de Derecho. Also, in 2020 he attended the "Construction Law Summer School" taught by Informa and the University of Cambridge.

Mr. Sandoval has experience in civil, commercial, administrative and constitutional litigation, representing both national and transnational companies, and has extensive experience in national and international arbitrations, having participated in arbitrations administered by the ICC, LCIA, as well as in proceedings ad hoc arbitrations.

Juan Pablo Sandoval's practice is specialized in construction law, advising various companies, both national and transnational, from various sectors, including airport, railway, highway, tourism, hospital, oil, electrical, among others; participating in the negotiation of construction contracts and providing advice on government contracting procedures.

He has been invited to participate in various webinars organized by the Latin American Association of Construction Law (ALDEC), has also actively participated in various forums and events of the American Bar Association (ABA) and has been a guest speaker in classes related to the Construction Law at universities such as the University of Miami, the Universidad Panamericana.

Juan Pablo has participated in various publications such as the e-booklet of FL FIDIC (Future Leaders of the International Federqation of Consulting Engineers); in various editions of the “Construction and Engineering Law” chapter of “International Comparative Legal Guides”; and he is an active member of “The Dispute Resolver”, a blog of the Division 1 (Litigation and Dispute Resolution) of the “American Bar Association” (ABA).

Currently, Juan Pablo is Regional Director of the North American chapter of the Society of Construction Law (SCL).
