Julio Arcos Flores

Julio Arcos Flores is a lawyer from Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, with a specialization in national and international commercial arbitration. He has participated in proceedings under CAM, ICC, CIAM-CIAR, and ad-hoc arbitration rules, acting as counsel in law firms in Mexico and Peru, and as an arbitral secretary alongside internationally recognized arbitrators.
His experience includes disputes in corporate law, construction, energy, and international sales of goods. He has successfully represented Universidad Panamericana in major competitions such as the Willem C. Vis Moot, Moot Madrid (as speaker of the winning team in its 15th edition), and the competition organized by Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and UNCITRAL.
He currently coaches the arbitration team at UNAM’s Law School, showing his commitment to mentoring new talent. He has also contributed to academic analysis through publications such as his article in ARBITRIO, the journal of the Arbitration Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, focusing on the concept of adverse inference.
